Recovery of Raw Materials from Ceramic Waste Materials for the Refractory Industry

Products of the refractory industry are key for production heavy goods such as steel and iron, cement, aluminum glass. Corresponding industries dependent on thermal processes to manufacture their products, which in turn would not be possible if there were no materials, bricks or mixes. For primary raw materials semi-finished products corundum, bauxite zircon used. Industrial recycling reduce dependencies, conserve resources global CO2 emissions. Today, only a small quantity used can recycled because (regenerates) obtained from end-of-life insufficient quality. In this study, regenerates different waste could using innovative processing method electrodynamic fragmentation. It was shown that these have high chemical purity therefore confirmed use does affect characteristic properties, refractoriness mechanical strength. Thus, fragmentation is process, able provide high-quality materials.
